Rohl is a globally renowned brand that creates authentic faucets, fittings, fixtures, and other bath and kitchen accessories. It calls its product lines its “legacy”, which gives us a sneak peek at the sensibilities of the brand as a whole. It’s not just about making products and selling them to as many people as possible.
For this reason, its collections have been gracing homes and establishments in different places all around the world: North America, France, Italy, Germany, New Zealand, and Switzerland. Each country represents a product line crafted by artisans, using design and manufacturing techniques that have been passed from generation to generation.
Each of these country-themed product collections represents the nation’s culture, heritage, craftsmanship, provenance, and – of course – family ties. Since 1983, Rohl has been offering what it calls authentic luxury using original designs and a deep dedication to producing high-quality crafts.
It is part of the much larger corporation, House of Rohl.

Rohl History
It all began in 1983 when Ken Rohl discovered a product that changed the kitchen industry. He came upon the pull-out kitchen faucet when he was in Europe, which is now an industry standard. He brought it to the US, introduced it to designers in California, and impressed the people he met there. The designers loved it. It was a hit with homeowners, too, because of its ideal blend of function, convenience, and beauty.
Since then, Rohl has become a brand on a mission to come up with new products that offer luxury, authenticity, and exceptional quality for the home. By 2010, Ken Rohl got inducted into the Hall of Fame of the National Kitchen and Bath Association. He also acted as the Decorative Plumbing and Hardware Association’s charter founder.
His innate design instincts took him all over the globe. He was never in one place. He was always discovering and learning craftsmanship and technologies that can improve the industry. He never came back home to America without a new faucet, fixture, or fitting that he discovered in his ventures to Europe and Australia. If you wanted to get the best and the latest in the industry, he was the man to go to.
During all of his travels and business trips, Rohl has formed bonds and partnerships with talented people from all over the globe: family-run factories in Italy, France, England, Germany, Switzerland, New Zealand, and across the US. These partnerships give birth to new creations, materials, techniques, designs, and ideas that Rohl can make a reality.
36 years since its inception, Rohl is still strong-willed in its mission and desire to find the best, the exceptional, the undiscovered and bring it to the masses as affordable and high-quality products.
Rohl Product Lines
Here are some of the many beautiful product lines by Rohl.
ACQUI

Acqui takes inspiration from the hot springs of the same name in Northern Italy, Acqui Terme. These are one of the oldest spa villages in the country and was often visited by Romans and Greeks in ancient times. They would relax in these spas, which are still sought after to this day.
The collection reflects the design and architectural influences from this Italian region, as well as its history. Each product in this collection is made by artisans and craftsmen in Italy, using traditional hand techniques and materials passed to them by older generations.
ARCANA

Arcana is a term that means to look into the past and the future. This product series reflects this definition with a style that brings together traditional firmness with more contemporary details. This collection is crafted in Alzo, an Italian town above Lago d’ Orta. It is a collection that pays tribute to the bell-making heritage of the town.
WAVE
The Wave Faucet series is handcrafted in Italy. It is the brainchild of Nevio Tellatin and features a style that reminds you of the balance and harmony that comes from minimalism. You can tell this inspiration with each piece, which is crafted with no ornamentation and very few materials.
The result is a classic but modern art form. It is a series created from the mix of precise craftsmanship, hand finishing, and artisanal polishing.
CAMPO
Campo takes its name from Piazza del Campo in Siena. This Italian bath series celebrates the popular systems of conduits that deliver the water to the city. Back in the 14th century, tunnels and aqueducts that ran for miles were built to bring water to the renowned Font Gaia, the Fountain of the World.
This collection is made by Northern Italian craftsmen with techniques and materials given to them by their ancestors. You’ll notice a resemblance of the valve/stem combo found in the industrial conduit systems’ design in these products.

HEX
Hex is a geometrical collection, distinguished by its hexagonal spout. It takes additional inspiration from the Belle Epoch (Beautiful Era) period. Back then, there was prosperity, peace, and happiness in all of Western Europe. Cities celebrated art and design. You can find this delicateness in the Hex handles, which are available in various materials and finishes.
You can relive the glamour of this time period. All pieces are made in Italy
LOMBARDIA
The Lombardia Series, named after the Italian region, is a bath series that is handcrafted by local artisans. The region is popular for its shimmering lakes and breathtaking mountains, and the collection similarly compels its viewer and user with its clean and crisp lines. You’ll be unable to draw your eyes away from the detailed design and superior engineering.
PIRELLONE
The Pirellone Series is inspired by the famous Pirelli Building in Milan. This is another Italian collection that celebrates pure lines, simple form, and precise engineering. You can feel the influence of the architectural and cultural vibe of the skyscraper, which was designed by Gio Ponte, in each piece of this series. All pieces are handcrafted and designed in Italy.
QUARTILE

VINCENT
The Vincent Series is a masculine collection that features transitional design. It marries together traditional and modern lines. It is perfect for spaces that have been intentionally unadorned. It uses majestic scale and size. It is great for baths that have larger fittings and fixtures. Each piece is made of solid brass. The faucets are strong and sturdy. The series is handcrafted in Northern Italy.
VERONA
Verona is inspired by yes, the city of Verona in Northern Italy. If we go back to Shakespearean times, these pieces would seamlessly fit in with the homes despite carrying modern functionalities. Verona is a World Heritage UNESCO site and is renowned as a cultural, art, opera, and music center. People from all over the globe flock here for very different reasons, but they all share one thing: a fascination for the grace and style of the city.
This series does exactly that for your bathroom. You can enjoy its graceful form, escutcheons that resemble bells (an homage to the Veronese bell-ringing art from the 1700s), and a spout that is full of details – just like the Renaissance architecture and fashion back then.
VIAGGIO
Viaggio is an Italian word that means to embark on a journey – one that encapsulates the personal and professional journey of Ken Rohl himself. When you travel in Italy, you’ll meet tons of foothills and walkabouts in the Dolomites, treks in the Piedmont hills, day sails on Lake Como, and many other scenic adventures.
This faucet series takes inspiration from all of these places. You can tell just by looking at the pieces, which are handcrafted by Italian artisans. You can take the traditions of the region right into your own home with the products in this series.
Is Rohl a Good Brand?
You can tell that Rohl isn’t like most sanitaryware brands. It does not sit prettily and content in one place. It keeps pushing the boundaries, especially of design. It finds inspiration in the places it visits. Here are more reasons why this brand is worthy of your trust and support.
ANTI-SCALD VALVES
Back in the early 90s, Rohl was already changing the landscape of the shower industry. It produced a collection of the shower, bath, and kitchen valves that were temperature-regulated and anti-scald. The mixed together thermostatic and pressure-balanced solutions to solve the water heating problem, and instead offered comfort and safety. All tub filler and shower valves to this day have this technology to prevent unexpected heat shifts, which can not only be uncomfortable but also harmful.
FILTRATION SOLUTIONS
As our planet faces waves of problems every day, it gets harder to ensure a supply of clean and healthy drinking water. Sometimes we face drought, reservoir contaminants, or impure sources. Whatever the cause is, this is not the humane way to live.
Rohl has launched a series of filtration solutions, with patented tech that eliminates virtually all of the dangerous and harmful particulates found in tap water.
RESPONSIBLE LUXURY
Rohl understands the water crisis we are facing, not just in the US but all over the globe. Even with its promise of luxury, it is mindful of responsible business practices. Responsibility with water is a huge factor in all of the Rohl products. Especially since it is based in California, the brand ensures that all design and product development efforts focus on conserving water.
CALGREEN CERTIFICATION
In line with the responsible luxury that it promises, Rohl follows the standards set by CALGreen. This standard is mandatory in all California buildings with water fixtures. It mandates that the buildings use toilets, faucets, and showers that reduce water consumption by at least 20%.
LOW FLUSH WATER CONSUMPTION
Rohl water closets uphold both product performance and water conservation. You can choose from their 1.26 GPF or 1.6 GPF (gallons per flush) options. These meet the water consumption regulations as set by CALGreen for both Victorian and Deco designs. As a result, you get toilets that offer both environmental responsibility and luxury.
SAFE AND SUITABLE FOR ALL AGES, PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES
Rohl makes sure its products are suitable for users of all ages – and that includes the elderly. For seniors who are gracefully resting and aging at home, there are baths that can be retrofitted for particular functions.
The same applies to the other end of the age spectrum. Rohl is also kid-friendly. Parents can enjoy smart baths suitable for children, which include ideally located grab bars.
Aside from children and the elderly, Rohl also makes a collection of accessories that comply with the requirements of the ADA. In addition to this compliance, these products are smart, too.
Rohl also complies with California Low-Lead standards, which were implemented since 2014. This mandates that any product that conveys water anticipated for human consumption contains no more than 0.25% weighted average of lead. In addition, the NSF/ANSI Standard 61 states that all faucets and plumbing fixtures sold in the US need to be tested. No more than 5 parts per billion of lead should leech from these fixtures into the drinking water.

Rohl Warranty
Most Rohl products come with a Limited Warranty, which basically means that the company will provide a replacement part or item (or comparative alternative piece) free of charge, as a replacement for those proven defective in material or workmanship, as long as it is covered in the warranty period.
