Kraus is a company that believes in the capability of good design to create a positive change in the daily life of people. Through its products, it aims to transform environments into an exceptional experience, every single day. It is driven by the goal to push the limits of design to come up with the best bath and kitchen fittings in today’s market.
Kraus is known for its sinks, faucets, and sanitary accessories for the bathroom and kitchen. With each new design they create, they want to elevate the current industry standards in terms of functionality, value, quality, and style. Their motto is to Live Beautifully™, and with a quick look at their products, you’ll see how they plan on doing that.
One thing that sets this brand apart from the many others in the industry is their dedication to share ideas with their fans – whether it’s about the design or functionality of their products. They even have a Pinterest account that you can check out if you’re looking for some design inspiration for your home! Plus, they compile customer submissions on their website, on a page called #LoveMyKraus, which allows you to take a peek inside the homes of people who have Krauss products installed.

Kraus History
Founded in 2007, this company is relatively younger than other brands we’ve reviewed before, some of which came in during the 70s, 80s, or earlier. The brand entered the market of plumbing and sanitary fixtures with the hopes of revolutionizing it, through affordable bath and kitchen design. They aimed to do this by creating a collection of clean, high-quality, and modern products that anyone can access.
Their headquarters is located in Port Washington, New York, but their audience reach is now global. The brand has branched out to several facilities through the East and West coasts. The company has a total of 100,000 square feet of warehouse space all over the world.
Their team is comprised of people that share an enthusiasm for making top-notch designs for the home. Teamwork is a great driving factor for the company, together with constant innovation, and respect for the environment.
The history of the company is still being written, and it doesn’t look like it has any intention of stopping. Its current product lines are the perfect proof. More of that below!
Kraus Product Lines
Let’s dive into some of the brand’s best offerings.
Kraus Vessel Faucets
This collection features faucets that are made of either pure metal or solid brass, or a hybrid mix of both, ensuring durability and longevity. They come with a Kerox ceramic cartridge that’s considered best-in-class today. This makes sure that the faucet has drip-free reliability and durability. The material is resistant to corrosion and wear.
All of the faucets are coated with either PVD or a triple-plated finish, creating a flawless look without compromising the protection of the faucet’s body. The finish’s surface is designed to resist fading, tarnishing, and chipping. Every faucet has been tested to resist wear and tear before hitting the market.
Several models in this collection come with Neoperl Adjustable Aerators, which minimize water wasted. More than helping in conserving natural resources, these aerators also offer increased functionality through a pivoting tip that is engineered to provide precise flow control.
And of course, every single Kraus faucet has been certified with WaterSense, allowing you to save money by reducing the amount of water used – without compromising water pressure.
These vessels feature single-lever handles for an easy control of flow and temperature.
Kraus Waterfall Vessel Faucets
This subcollection offers a chance to treat your faucets as impeccable centerpieces for your bathroom. Their features include:
- Drip-free use
- Resistance to rust, corrosion, and fading
- Dynamic surface for water flow
- Assorted colors to choose from (you can match the faucet with Kraus sinks)
- A slim joystick handle for a fuller range of motion
- 2.2 GPM flow rate
- Designed especially for Kraus vessel sinks (more on these later)
- Engineered for use with standard US plumbing fittings and connections
- High-quality cartridge for durability and reliability
- Handcrafted

By installing a Krauss sink, you instantly give your home a style upgrade. You can choose from clear, frosted, or even multicolor sinks. There are various models, shapes, patterns, textures, and finishes to choose from. You can be sure that whichever you pick, each sink is versatile and beautiful.

Needless to say, all of their glass vessel sinks are designed to be compatible with all Krauss faucets, including the Waterfall faucets we mentioned earlier. You can even pair their models, colors, and patterns for a more continuous design aesthetic. You can also use these with wall-mounted faucets if you’d like.
Choose from three subcollections: the Single-Tone Series, Multicolor Series, or the Nature Series™ to match your bathroom’s decor. They are perfect for modern and minimalistic spaces, but can also stand out in classic bathrooms.
Installation is straightforward. By using vessel sinks, you can free up a lot of valuable counter space. You may mount the sinks directly above the counter or semi-recessed. All mounting hardware you need for installation is included with your purchase. For warranty purposes, we recommend hiring a professional plumber to perform the installation for you.
It is easy to clean and maintain these sinks’ surfaces since they are smooth and polished. Just wipe them regularly with a damp cloth and you are set.
These sinks come in a variety of shapes. Choose from the following:
- Round: this is the most popular shape for above-the-counter sinks. It creates a silhouette that doubles a modern focal point for any bathroom. It’s also easy to coordinate round vessel sinks with any decorative theme, from contemporary to classic styles.
- Square: it creates a square silhouette, which is more of a bold design statement. Its tapered base frees up counter space. Because of its shape, this goes perfectly with other geometric elements, design-wise. Use it to contrast softly rounded shapes for a modern and minimalist appeal.
- Rectangular: another popular style, the rectangle sink is bold as it is stylish. Out of the three options, it offers the most basin space, which is preferred by many homeowners. They have a solid design that can work well with most decor themes.
All Kraus sinks are made from Soda Lime, a material commonly used to create tempered glass sinks. The round glass sinks will rest on a mounting ring. They will be secured by a pop-up drain (not applicable to rectangular sinks).
All of these sinks will need a 1.75-inch drain opening.
Is Kraus a Good Brand?
With our featured product lines above, you can tell how good of a brand Kraus is. Let’s take a look at its core values for creating new designs, as well as some necessary certifications.
Brand Core Values
Quality
If you can’t tell yet, the brand strives to create high-quality products. But it doesn’t end there: they also aim to provide quality during packaging, shipping, and after-purchase customer service. Their manufacturing process includes state-of-the-heart technology, using only best-in-class materials and components. Each collection goes through rigorous quality control and testing to make sure all customers are fully happy with their purchase.
Creativity
Without creativity, Kraus wouldn’t be able to design half of its current product roster. Each piece is a product of practical and functional elements that are enveloped by creative design. Their sinks are durable as they are beautiful. Their bathroom fittings give you a sense of tranquility – as if you have entered a spa inside your home.
Design
Finally, it all comes down to design. The goal is to create an array of affordable bath and kitchen fixtures to fit the customers’ lifestyles and budgets. The brand aims to create new looks and upgrade functionality by constantly innovating and offering you with better products for the home. After all, their motto is to Live Beautifully™ every day.
Brand Certifications
Kraus has passed the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC) Certification Mark, conducted by the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO) Shield. This means that it is fully compliant with the standards for product performance, as well as with the Uniform Plumbing Code. This covers all of its plumbing products.
Kraus is also compliant with the American Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990.
Kraus is fully compliant with the California AB 1953, Vermont S152, and Maryland queries. These basically limit the allowed lead content in pipes, plumbing fixtures, and fittings that are intended for drinking (0.25%), which is actually less than other states which base their limitations based on the Federal Safe Drinking Water Act. These standards have been put in effect since January 2010.
