1. Environment-Friendly

Like mentioned earlier, many brands offer environment-friendly foams, with natural ingredients, recyclable packaging, and reusable bottles. Toilet paper foam also allows the toilet paper to decompose quicker than normal, so we can minimize long-term pollution.

2. Gentle for Sensitive Skin

Wet wipes may not work for everyone because some contain harsh chemicals and synthetic fibers that may irritate the skin, especially those with sensitive skin.  But, with toilet paper foam, manufacturers design it to get rid of skin irritation and synthetic fibers.

The scents from the foam come from its natural ingredients, so the smell may not be that strong.

3. Handy

One great benefit of toilet paper foam is you can bring it anywhere. Manufacturers usually place them in a plastic bottle that can easily fit into backpacks, purses, and pockets.

4. Long-Lasting

Depending on the size of the toilet paper foam, it can last long. A 4-oz bottle can give you around 200 wet wipes equivalent, while a 1-oz bottle can provide 50 wet wipes equivalent.

1. Can be a Hassle for Some

One disadvantage of the toilet paper foam that many might overlook is you repeat the process of spraying the foam on the paper every time you use it. It can be a hassle at some point.

It’s not the same as wet wipes where you directly get the wipe and then use it already. Cleaning and wiping can take longer than using wet wipes.

2. Can Be Messy

If you spray too much of it on the toilet paper, it would be a little messy because the paper might already be too wet to use and the wetness might break the paper. Control over the spray is key here.

3. May Not Be Cost-Effective

The thought of using two products for a single purpose means you’ll need to spend twice, which may not be cost-effective. The foam doesn’t work well without the toilet paper.

You have the option to spray it directly to the skin, but its function may not be as efficient as when using it with toilet paper.

Is Toilet Paper Foam Effective?

Toilet paper foam’s effectiveness depends on the type of user and on how consumers use them. For users who don’t have allergies and are not sensitive to scented products, toilet paper foam can work well. Also, if users apply the right amount of foam as instructed on the label, they can get the right level of moisture from the foam that’s effective for cleaning.

But, for users who don’t want to invest for an additional bathroom product and would settle with using toilet paper or wet wipes only, the foam may not be a practical option. If you choose to try the foam anyway, make sure you’re open to using it the right way, you know what works and doesn’t with it, and are willing to try a new bathroom product that could be worthy of the experience.
